Our client designs and manufactures lightweight air distribution and insulation systems for the worlds leading aircraft. Based in a purpose built modern facility in Cheshire (just south of Manchester) the company requires additional support to meet the growing needs of their customers.
Covering two sites, this is a unique opportunity for an experienced and self-motivated H&S professional. The role will focus on the continuous development, implementation and maintenance of a Safety, Health and Environment system for two businesses with the Group. You will have the confidence and experience necessary to promote best pratice in support of employee involvement in Health & Safety. It is essential that you have a NEBOSH General Certificate in Occupational Health & Safety. A NEBOSH Diploma Part 1 (TechSP) and Manual Handling Trainer are very desirable. Experience of implementing environmental standards to ISO14000 would be a distinct advantage.
